Spice Queers Myrtle Alley Block Party

Thursday Sept. 4, 2025 | 6-8pm

Myrtle Alley at the Compton’s venue | 835 Larkin St. SF, CA 94109

Free! No registration required

Jaylyn Abergas, Shane Zal-Diva, Coco Buttah, & Per Sia are Spice Queers: a riotous gaggle of some of SF’s finest drag queens, three of whom are main Compton’s castmembers. Spice up your SF First Thursday Art Walk with a visit to Myrtle Alley for a free show and music by DJ Siobahn Aluvalot!

Tenderloin Museum concludes a summertime series of monthly programs in Myrtle Alley, the alley adjacent to our venue for The Compton’s Cafeteria Riot play at 835 Larkin St., with an evening of drag and music. The featured performers–Spice Queers–include several of the play’s main castmembers. This new-ish group of old friends has performed on the mainstage of this year’s San Francisco Pride, at Glammamore’s Pillows, and at the Tenderloin’s Sunday Streets.

With a grant from SF Planning, Tenderloin Museum has been activating Myrtle Alley with programs timed to the SF First Thursday Art Walk in an effort to uplift the street conditions around the epicenter of the Tenderloin and Lower Polk’s robust scene of art galleries and independent businesses. Beer available in the Compton’s venue courtesy of Fort Point Brewing!

Join us for the final of these special free and outdoor public programs!
